With the start of the new school year, Ag in the Classroom (AITC) finds its way back into classrooms across the state of Arizona. Teachers are excited once again for the many Curriculum Kits that are being offered and are showing great interest in AITC’s two newest kits: Dairy and Sheep. To learn more about the AITC Curriculum Kits and Presentations visit the Ag in the Classroom page at www.azfb.org. If you want to schedule a presentation in your classroom, or your child’s, contact Katie Aikins via email at katieaikins@azfb.org.

The 2nd Annual Drive for Agricultural Education presented by Hickman’s Family Farms will be held at the Raven South Mountain Golf Course on November, 10th at 8:00am. All proceeds go to support the efforts of Arizona Farm Bureau’s AITC Program. More information and Registration can be completed online at www.azfb.org. Registration includes breakfast sponsored by Hickman’s Family Farms and Farmer John, your round of golf, a BBQ lunch and goodie bag. By playing in the tournament you not only support AITC, but you will have the chance to win a Ford Truck and other great Hole-In-One prizes.
