Cotton Pickin’ Fun on the Farm- Cotton Crafting

October 6, 2010

Cotton is a foundation of everyday life and a staple of the Arizona economy.  And one of our own Arizona cotton farms, and an Arizona Farm Bureau Member is hosting classes on Cotton Crafting, just in time for the holidays.

Here’s more info from Tiffany of the Cotton Shedd.

Upon arrival at our farm, guests will be touring the farm and picking cotton and cotton burs to use in the projects. We will then have refreshments and make the project. (Note: once the fields are plowed under guests will not pick their own cotton.)

So come relax, craft, and have some cotton pickin’ fun on our farm while getting ready for the holidays. Each class has limited enrollment. A fee of $25.00 per person includes craft making supplies, refreshments, farm tour, and patterns with extra cotton to take home.

Please go to cottonshedd.com or call us to reserve your spot. Classes must have a minimum of 2 participants or will be cancelled. The deadline for signing up is 6pm the evening before the class.

We have lots more info on our website as well as more class times.
